Daniel "Topo" Gioia, born in Rosario/Argentina, began his self-taught studies of percussion at the age of 15. In 1988 he became the best conga player of the "Latin Percussion Competition" in Germany. He made performed live with John Newton, Giora Feidman, Lalo Schifrin, Oreste Vilato and Raul Recow of "Santana", among others. Carly Quiroz was born in Concordia Argentina in 1973, he began studying piano at the age of 5 and graduated from the Fracassi Conservatory as a trained pianist at the age of 15. Later he won numerous prizes in different competitions from composition to interpretation. Since 2008 he lives in Berlin, where he is constantly active in various projects as producer, bandleader and musical arranger.

A lot has happened around Stereofysh since their debut album "The Race", which "...can unfold its magic on the dance floor or just chilling by the river bank" [DasFilter]. Two years later, the very personal album "Ohana" was released, inspired by their tour through the USA and to Hawaii. Right in the middle of the late summer of 2020, the Berlin family trio Stereofysh released TINY REVOLUTION, which couldn't have been a better match for these months. In a time when nothing seems to fit together anymore, the longing for light electro pop songs and memories of the good old days in the outdoor pool with an ice cream cone awakens. For Stereofysh fans this EP is a logical development of the previous albums, for new friends it is the perfect kick-off into the band's electronic sound aquarium.

Three of Berlin's finest Jazz musicians come together to celebrate the music and energy of the Ahmad Jamal. Jordan Dinsdale begun his professional career at just seventeen, studying with some of the greatest names in Jazz including: Jimmy Cobb, Chris Cheek, Jimmy Wormworth, and Mike Kanan. He is joined by Declan Forde on piano and Igor Spallati on bass. Expect the groove, swing and dynamic musicianship reminiscent of the classic Ahmad Jamal trio.

The two Israeli musicians Avi Avital and Omer Klein invite you to a very special synthesis of classical music and jazz. Avi Avital is the first mandolin soloist to be nominated for a classical Grammy, Avi Avital has been compared to Andres Segovia for his championship of his instrument and to Jascha Heifitz for his incredible virtuosity. Passionate and "explosively charismatic" (New York Times) in live performance, he is a driving force behind the reinvigoration of the mandolin repertory. Pianist and Composer Omer Klein's music is "borderless" (New York Times) in its organic assimilation of widely diverse sources of inspiration, as he continuously "pushes mainstream Jazz concepts into the future" (Time Out New York). A prolific performer and composer, Klein has released 8 albums as a soloist, and published over 100 original compositions.

The music created by the Brazilian pianist Rossano Snel encompasses ethereal harmonies, ambient soundscapes and confrontational feelings, shifting through styles in a fluid, emotional way. In his own words: “I play simple melodies with a lot of heart”. Born and raised in the south of Brazil, Rossano played keys and synths in many different bands during his youth, being involved with composition, electronic and also classical music since he was a teenager. After a period of working in a studio, he soon started to produce and record the pieces he was composing. This path lead him to work with film music, composing for several films, documentaries and series, that were broadcasted by HBO, Netflix, arte, ZDF, ARD and Canal Brasil. He also writes and produces songs for other artists. His latest own releases are: ‚Healing Harmonies‘ and ‚Maria’s Waltz‘ and can be found in all the streaming services.

D.$AHIN is an allrounder in a world of specialists. The Berlin based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is proof that one does not need to commit to one thing, as she embarks on a musical journey that combines an earthy blend of R&B and indie-rock-pop with her soulful, reassuring voice. Originally from Istanbul, D.$AHIN came to Germany in the early 1990's with her family as refugees and was granted asylum and eventually citizenship as a teenager. Growing up between the two worlds of traditional Turkish music (she studied Saz, the Turkish 'guitar') and western pop music shaped her instincts as a singer early on. D.$AHIN ´s debut single “SHINE” was released in February 26th 2021.

Mariana Zwarg is a flutist, composer and arranger from Brazil. She represents the third generation of musicians playing and spreading the tradition of "universal music", created by her godfather, the musical genius Hermeto Pascoal from Brazil. For many years she was part of the famous Brazilian band Itiberê Zwarg e Grupo and played stadiums and clubs all over South America. In 2016 she founded her „Sexteto Universal“, uniting 6 musicians from 5 different countries. Since then the band has performed at clubs and festivals in many European countries as well as Brazil. Their highly acclaimed debut album „Nascentes“ (that also features Itiberê Zwarg and Hermeto Pascoal) was released in 2020. Tonight, she forms a trio with 2 of her bandmates. They will perform Mariana’s original music as well as classic Brazilian songs.

Yamil Borges and the Tal Balshai Trio perform jazz and soul hits at the highest level. Yamil Borges, last seen in the show "2020" at the Wintergarten Varieté, has performed in Hollywood movies (e.g. as Diana Morales in 'A Chorus Line' with Michael Douglas), on Broadway in New-York and on all the big stages in Europe.

The Gur Liraz Organ trio is inspired by the classical organ trios of the 60, featuring the likes of Wes Montgomery, and Grant Green This night will be dedicated entirely to original music by all band members continuing the tradition of groovy and soulful organ-guitar combos.

The program includes performances of Lucia's jazz standards and original compositions, from the album FREEDOM and the upcoming album. Arrangements of the pieces by Lucia Fodde, Davide Incorvaia and Carmelo Leotta.

Matthias Trippner has developed his own project, which he calls "System Trippner". For this he has shifted the drums to his feet, which allows him to play bass (hammond organ) with his left hand and keyboards with his right. Those who know Matthias' playing style can look forward to particularly tight and masterful grooves. For this evening he complements the 'system' with the extensive expertise and international know-how of his longtime companions and friends Tilmann Dehnhard (flute), Robby Geerken (percussion), Alfred Mehnert (percussion) and Tino Derado (piano). This first-class line-up is a guarantee for a captivating, rhythmic evening that is exciting in every respect. The sound of the quintet is a mixture of virtuoso instrumental groove jazz and funk with latin influences.

Always spontaneous, full of surprises, with great joy in playing and a fat groove. This duo performs 'all time favourites' and their own compositions. Matti Klein is a brilliant jazz pianist and was a founding member of the German jazzfunk cult band Mo' Blow. His passion for vintage instruments like Wurlitzer and Rhodes Bass are the main inspiration for his own current project Soul Trio. Since 2013, he has been the musical director and keyboardist for worldwide performances with Brazilian soul-jazz icon Ed Motta. Tayfun Schulzke uses a wide range of unusual percussion instruments. He learned African rhythms and expanded his skills especially with Indian tabla (Prof. Sankha Chatterjee / Calcutta), Cuban conga (rumba with J.A.Mehnert) and cajon. In addition to studio work, acting and television appearances, Tayfun Schulzke has also performed at various festivals.

If you look closely, there is more to Max Mutzke than just one artist. Max is many. This may sound strange at first, but it actually relates to the charismatic singer and songwriter's incredible versatility and, not forgetting, his insatiable creative curiosity. Whether pop, rock, soul, funk or jazz - Max Mutzke has a thousand musical facets. Tonight he will show these with the Matti Klein Soul Trio. The soulful jazz blend that Matti Klein delivers with Lars Zander on saxophone and bass clarinet and drummer André Seidel, his companion from "Mo' Blow" times, has addictive potential. Matti earned his reputation as one of the most interesting young groove jazzers on the German scene with his various vintage keyboards and on the grand piano. He shared stage and studio with stars like Sarah Connor, Ed Motta & Herbert Grönemeyer.
